This cache might be a bit of a climb but the terrain isn't really that dificult. Ship Rock is located on public land in Peabody, Massachusetts. There was once a set of stairs that could be used to climb to the top of the rock, the view is fantastic. In more recent years the stairs were removed but others have put ropes in place and even a chain ladder. The climb is NOT for the faint of heart and the cache is NOT on top of the rock. Climb at your own risk.
It is believed by most experts that the location was once used by pirates to spot for ships coming into Salem harbor.
