Lähellä sijaitsevassa rakennuksessa toimi Vesijaon kansakoulu aina 1980-luvulle saakka. Se lopetettiin oppilaiden puutteen takia. Nykyään rakennus on yksityisessä omistuksessa joten ethän mene sen pihalle. Vieressä sijaitsee myöls pelikenttä joka on kyläyhdistyksen hallinnoima. Kentällä pelataan joka kesä heinäkuun puolen välin paikkeilla kyläläiset vastaan mökkiläiset pesäpallo-ottelu. The building close by used to be Vesijako elementary school. It was in operation still in1980s but was then closed dueto lack of pupils. The building is now privately owned so plese do not enter its' yard.The areena next to the old school is administered by the village council. Every year in mid July a Finnish baseball game is played on the areena between the village people andt the summer residents.
