Geocache Description:

We were introduced to geocaching by my brother-in-law,Rocky Hillbilly, who is an avid geocacher. We have come to be great fans as well and have introduced it to numerous friends, family, and colleagues. This is our first hide and we are both excited and nervous. We welcome constructive feedback and look forward to reading your logs.

We originally planned to hide this somewhere in the White Mountains, as we had vacationed there as a family over 20 years ago and only recently, and with great joy, were able to return. Unfortunately, we had counted on the lack of cell phone reception in the area. After much consideration, we realized that the Pemigawasset River runs from the mountains to the sea. As a family, like the river, we have had to find our way around obstacles, cross great distances, and sometimes travel different paths before coming together again.Though we had lived on the Cape, we returned to Kauai, Hawaii to be with family with a plan to stay. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Iniki, we were forced to return to the mainland and were heartbroken to leave the island. However, we realized that the most imortant thing was that we were all together and safe; many families were not so fortunate. ºThis hide is about our journey, a celebration of having come full circle, and taking a 360º view of our lives
