Placed this geocache near our cottage on Merrymeeting Lake. The loons have always been here and we have always enjoyed watching and listening to them. We enjoy hiking these mountains and hope you enjoy your visit.
Ammo can placed in a typical location by geocachers. We have always loved hiking the mountains around Merrymeeting Lake, especially Devil's Den. The trail is easy to walk and you can actually drive pretty close to the cache if the gate is open. The cache is an Ammo can and started out with Loon items. Please be careful walking around the area of the geocache because there are holes under leaves. Please don't leave broken toys are junkie items that you would throw away.
