Questa cache è situata vicino al confine tra i comuni di Ponte di Piave, Salgareda e Chiarano.
Spesso i confini comunali in queste zone vengono delimitati da fossati o fiumi, in questo caso tra il Bidoggia e un fossato suo affluente.
Il Bidoggia è un corso d'acqua lungo 50 km di tipo sorgivo. Nel tratto superiore di questo Canale le caratteristiche del fondo, la velocità della corrente e la temperatura consentono l'habitat ideale per il cavedano e la trota fario. L'acqua in tutto il tratto è particolarmente limpida e ricca di vegetazione. Ciò favorisce la vita di trote, temoli, lucci, tinche, alborelle, il barbo comune, la carpa, il pesce gatto. La confluenza con La Fossa Formosa poco più a sud fa assumere al canale dimensioni più consistenti sino alla sua confluenza nel Grassaga dove cambia nome in Brian a S.Maria di Campagna. La vegetazione fluviale ospita la gallinella d'acqua, la folaga, l'airone, il germano reale. Lungo gli argini il paesaggio offre le alberature tipiche della campagna veneta: pioppi, periom salici, gelsi.

This cache is located near the border between the towns of Ponte di Piave, and Salgareda Chiarano. Typically, in these areas municipal borders are delimited ditches or rivers, in this case between the Bidoggia and ditch its tributary.
The Bidoggia is a 50 kilometers long spring water flow. In the higher part of this canal, bed's characteristics, current's speed and water's temperature make the ideal habitat for the chub and the brown trout. Water in the whole flow is particulary limpid and full of vegetation. This contributes to the presence of trouts, graylings, pikes, tenches, bleaks (blays), barbels, cams and catfishes. The confluence with the Fossa Formosa, toward South, makes the canal wider, until it flows into the Grassaga, where it's name changes to Brian, in S. Maria di Campagna. The river's vegetation houses water hens, coots, herons and mallards. Along the banks, the landscape offers the typical tree plantations of the veneto-countries: Italian poplars, black poplars, willows and mulberry
