Point Judith Pond offers wonderfully diverse scenery. The southern end can have a lot of boat traffic & is not recommended for kayaking so we prefer to put our boats in at the northern end. Marina Park South Kingston is a town facility that is open to the public year-round with plenty of free parking.
The quest to find Insula will take you through The Narrows, everyone gets squeezed into a narrow channel, so be alert for motorboats & their wakes. Once you land on Insula your adventure is not over, you must grab the brass ring which may seem out of reach. Cache stays in place, just unscrew top & bring a pen. Enjoy the view!
