This is a CACHE IN - TRASH OUT event (CITO event).
It qualifies as a "Seven Souvenirs of August" CITO event.

You can earn a Nature Lover Souvenir for attending this CITO event and logging that you "Attended" this event. See the "Additional Waypoints" section below to see the other places that we will be visiting.

You may wonder, "Okay, but what do I do?" ...

Before the event:
Grab as many friends as you can.
Post a "Will Attend" log.
Meet at the posted coordinates at 4PM.
Pick up a whole bunch of trash.
Log online that you "Attended."
Tell your friends to log that they "Attended" too.
Feel good about what you did.
