I was out tromping through the backwoods of VT with Crashco and DJ, when we came upon this lovely little spot. I convinced Crashco to stop so I could place this cache. The hide is not challenging, but getting to the area will be fun (at least, it's MY idea of fun). We started on the South end of Taylor Road where the atlas and the GPS show the road to be a solid line. However, the farther north you venture, the road eventually becomes a dotted line. If you approach from the north end of Taylor Road, you will come to a place where the road seems to disappear into someone's yard. Just keep following the ruts and you go right past their house.
When looking at some maps, it shows that the road does not meet, on others it shows the road as a dotted line. I consider "dotted line" roads to be more difficult than Class 4 roads. 4-Wheel drive is not necessary but clearance is a plus. WE drove it, I am sure you can too! Road is likely NOT maintained in winter. I don't expect many people to go for this one. I guess maybe I placed this one with Skiguide and Pedaltwister in mind.
