I am planning on having a drawing for geo-prizes. Everyone who attends the event will get a chance to enter. If you bring something to donate, we'll gladly add it to the pile.
We will plan to take a group photo around 12:15. Folks are welcome to stick around afterwards (or join me in hunting for the CPD Cache about .3 miles west. It's driving me crazy!) Lunch is not included in the event (sorry!), but this establishment does offer deli fare. I can recommend the ice cream!
This very popular (and tasty) business is located on the Utah State University campus. Since this is between semesters, you might be able to park in the large lot next to the building without a permit (check with USU Parking first.) If not, there are nine free parking spaces for patrons at the site, and four metered parking spaces by the Human Resources Building on the corner across the street to the west. Street parking anywhere nearby may require a permit. Alternatively, you can park in one of the other USU Visitor Parking areas and walk, or take one of the free Cache Valley Transit District buses (the Aggie Shuttle doesn't run in the summer.) Both the #1 and #4 CVTD routes stop on the street to the south (#1 westbound, #4 eastbound.) CVTD Routes 1, 4 and CVN serve the upper campus, run about every half hour (except for CVN), and are clean, safe and FREE!
As this is the Friday before the start of Fall semester, traffic, parking and pedestrians might be a little chaotic throughout the day.
