An annual hike to remember those lost on 9/11/01.  This is a gradual Hike up to Flag Rock which stands the same height as the Former World Trade Center.  Come out and have some fun and remember those Lost.

Part of an annual gathering to remember the fallen.  We gather at the Farmington firehouse. we have two minutes of silence once for the time each of the planes hit the towers, the Farmington Fire chief says a few words and those hiking to flag rock head off.  Flag Rock stands the former height of the world trade center.  Also meet Randy West - one of the founders of this hike and trail chief.

You do not need to make the hike to attend this event.

This is an Annual Event. Come join us on the morning of 9/11 as we remember those lost. This is an AM hike.

Approximately 4 miles round trip.

We meet at the Farmington Firehouse located at
82 North 100 east,
Farmington, Utah, 84025

You do not need to make the hike. Come join us at the morning ceremony.

Attendees should arrive between 6:15 and 6:30 am. At 6:45 AM the school bell will ring once followed by a minute of silence. This is the time the first tower was hit by the plane. Then we will have a photo opportunity and chance to talk and meet everyone.

At 7:03 another school bell will ring followed by another minute of silence to remember the time the second plane hit the towers.

Than the Farmington fire chief will say a few words before those making the trek to flag rock head off.

Flag rock stands the height of the former world trade center. This is a great opportunity to see what the view was like from up top. it will also help understand what the fire fighters endured as they walked the stairs up to rescue those in the towers.

I know I was one of them. The first three years this Hike took a lot out of me emotionally bringing back memories and emotions I didn't want. over time the healing progresses. I WILL NEVER FORGET.

Trail chief and one of the founding brothers Randall West will be there to guide the group up top.

Once on top we take photos of the group before heading back down.

get there early and Speak with myself or others. I am always willing to share my experiences of that day.

I will be posting an Afternoon evening hike as well but it will be earlier than previous years.
Rain or shine the hike goes on.
