This Cache is designed to identify the ideal parking for access to the East Putney Brook (EPB) series of Caches, and the Westminster Town Forrest (WTF) caches when approaching from the Westminster End. The EPB#7 cache GC5B2A7 is .2(+) east of here and the series continues East from there.
This Cache is at ground level amongst a small cluster of 4 growing Maple saplings 1-2" in diameter. The Cache starts with TB "Army Retired" TB2T6PZ in it.
The first .15 miles east of here are bordered by private properties before the road turns from Town Road into the Class 4 non-maintained trail that it becomes . The EPB series is great for hiking, Dog walking, Mtn Biking, Snow Shoeing, or Cross Country Sking (in season). The series follows the EPB and all caches are on well marked roadways/trails and does NOT require bushwacking. Most of the way the northside of the road/trail borders the WTF and the southside borders EPB, and is a wonderful and beautiful woodland area. If starting/approaching the series from this end, entrance to the WTF is at EPB3 GC5B13D, and follows an uphill climb into the George D. Aiken preserve listed here as the WTF. Caches decline traveling west to east and culminate at the Intersection of Millbrook Road and East Putney Brook Rd.,
