Geocaching 101.2 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Heartland Cacher: rchiving since the event is long over and everyone has had time to log his/her attendance. If not, the listing is not locked, which also goes if the CO wants to add some additional remarks. This also prevents it from appearing on pocket queries unnecessarily. and keeps it from continuing to appear on cacher's search lists. From the guidelines: http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#event
After an event has occurred, the listing is to be archived by the geocache owner.
"Christopher Pike" is a Geocaching Reviewer living in Rapid City and is planning on attending the event.  Here is your chance to get all those questions answered that you have been pondering over the years.

The Camel Cachers Club has been noticing that there are new cachers in the area.  We decided to host an event to get acquainted and to share our ideas on how to use and take full advantage of the Geocaching Website.  We also would like to acquaint everyone with some of the other programs that make Geocaching more fun and productive.
The Parks and Recreation Department has WIFI so please bring your laptop and your GPS. It is not necessary to have a laptop so don’t let that bother you. The presentation will be given by "Trail Cachers" and "Christopher Pike".
A Geocaching event is a great way to get acquainted with other geocachers and learn about the hobby. We have never been to an event that was not a lot of fun and educational.
It is helpful, but not necessary, if you are a Premium geocaching member as you can do much more with the official geocaching website.
If you do bring your laptop please consider the GSAK program.
