Alamogordo Ghostly Gathering 2014 Event Cache

Greetings Ghouls and Girls!

Prepare yourself for a hauntingly good daytime geocaching meet-n-greet in Alamogordo. Two local caching families have risen from the grave to host their very first event. We cracked open the spellbooks and conjured up a series of spooky festivities we hope will satisfy your Halloween sweet-tooth.

So come on up to the lab, and see what's on the slab!

Please join us from 9am - 10am on October 18th at the Washington Park picnic pavilion. We are throwing a simple meet-n-greet in celebration of Halloween, and will include:

- Refreshments (non-alcoholic drinks, finger foods/snacks, and some sweet treats)

- Door prize raffles and goodie bags

- Trackable swaps and sharing opportunities

- Halloween-themed geocache hides (information to be provided at the event)

Wahington Park features a covered pavilion with picnic table seeting, and has public restrooms nearby. Ample parking is available in the nearby parking lot. We reserved it, so we definitely have permission for this event. ;)

This will be a family friendly event, so please bring the kids and pets if you'd like. Costumes are not required, but feel free to wear whatever Halloween attire you would like, so long as it is decent and in good taste.

So please come out, have a few snacks, possibly win some prizes... and enjoy an afternoon of fun caches. You will be glad you did!
