Two ways of attacking this cache, one a good hike by foot or when it's operating a ride may be taken on the Ski lift.
This cache is not too far off the beaten path, due to the longish hike to the top. Try to do it on a clear day so one can enjoy the views from the Fire Tower. The tower is in good shape and there is a Green Mountain Club staff member in presence during the summer months. For the longer distance hikers one may return via Stratton Pond and back out to the road and a walk back to the Parking on The Stratton-Arlington Road. Parking is to be found at the Long Trail /AT Trail Head.
The Cache itself is a fair sized Rubbermaid container. To start we left a flash light, micro utility belt knife/tool and wet proof matches with a log book. Please sign in.
