Stugorna är en trevlig, enklare mysteriecache, där du går på en långpromenad och besöker platserna för fyra gamla stugor i Tranås, för att samla in ledtrådar.
Stugorna is a nice and simple mystery cache where you go for a long walk and visit the locations of four old cottages in Tranås, to gather clues.

För att hitta cachen Stugorna måste du besöka fyra olika cacher, “Minnen från Östanåstugan”, “Åstugan”, “Den äldsta Bäckastugan” och “Fröafallsstugan”. I locken på dessa fyra cacher finns en siffra uppskriven. Dessutom finns det ytterligare en siffra för varje som man antingen kan lista ut genom att besöka platserna eller genom att läsa deras cachebeskrivningar.
När du har dessa åtta siffror, så sätter du in dem i formeln nedan för att få en exakt position (någonstans i Tranås, inom kartbilden ovan, det kan vara en bra idé att besöka Fröafallsstugan sist). Sedan är det bara att gå dit och leta efter cachen på vanligt vis.
Det bör gå att hitta cachen på högst 2-3 timmar, med lite klurighet och en rejäl långpromenad, till större delen i ganska snäll terräng i stadsmiljö. Det är en bra idé att ha med sig en penna, så att man t.ex. kan anteckna de åtta siffrorna i handen under promenaden.
Följande åtta siffror måste du ta reda på för att kunna beräkna cachens koordinater:
A = Den siffra som står skriven inuti locket på cachen ”Åstugan”.
B = Åstugan ligger ett hundratal meter från cachen, vid avtagsvägen till Tranås Säteri (N 58 02.173 E 015 00.029). Vilken är hastighetsbegränsningen exakt vid denna?
C = Den siffra som står skriven inuti locket på cachen ”Minnen från Östanåstugan”.
D = Vilket år brann Östanåstugan för första gången?
E = Den siffra som står skriven inuti locket på cachen ”Den äldsta Bäckastugan”.
F = Hur många olika Bäckastugor fanns det i gamla tider?
G = Den siffra som står skriven inuti locket på cachen ”Fröafallsstugan”.
H = Vid gångvägen i backen ovanför cachen ”Fröafallsstugan” (N 58 01.354 E 014 58.995) ligger husgrunden till Fröafallsstugans soldattorp. Vilket nummer hade soldattorpet?
När du har dessa åtta värden så sätter du in A-H i följande formel för att få cachens koordinater:
N 58 01.( A*10 + B*2 + D + E*10 + H – 2135 )
E 014 58.( A + C*20 + E + F*100 + G*100 + H – 500 )

English description:
To find the cache Stugorna, you need to visit four different caches, “Minnen från Östanåstugan”, “Åstugan”, “Den äldsta Bäckastugan” and “Fröafallsstugan”. Inside the lids of each of these four is a number written. There is also another number for each cache, that you can figure out by either visiting the places or reading the cache descriptions (NOTE: some of them have a few lines in English at the end of their descriptions).
When you have all eight numbers, you insert them into the formula at the bottom to get the cache’s exact location (somewhere on the overview map shown above, it can be a good idea to visit Fröafallsstugan last). Then, you just go there and search for the cache.
You should be able to find this cache in 2-3 hours, with some cleverness and a long walk, mostly in nice, urban terrain. It is a good idea to bring a pen, so you can write down the eight numbers in your hand during the walk.
These are the eight numbers you need to find out to figure out the cache’s coordinates:
A = The number written inside the lid of the cache ”Åstugan”.
B = Åstugan is about a hundred meters from the cache, at the road leading to Tranås Säteri (N 58 02.173 E 015 00.029). What is the speed limit exactly at this location?
C = The number written inside the lid of the cache”Minnen från Östanåstugan”.
D = Which year did Östanåstugan burn the first time? (Remember that some of the caches have an English summary at the end of their description).
E = The number written inside the lid of the cache”Den äldsta Bäckastugan”.
F = How many different Bäcka cottages (Bäckastugor) were there in old times?
G = The number written inside the lid of the cache”Fröafallsstugan”.
H = At the walkway on the hill above the cache ”Fröafallsstugan” (N 58 01.354 E 014 58.995), you can look at the foundation from the Fröafallsstugan soldier’s croft (soldattorp in Swedish). Which number did the soldier’s croft have?
When you have these eight values, you insert A-H in this formula to get the cache’s coordinates:
