This geocache is a camouflaged official geocaching water bottle (the camouflage is the brainchild of Kira, age 7) located on the newest (2014) walking trail on Fremont town-owned conservation land. The trail is ½ mile long and the cache placement allows shorter people to find it—perfect for kids! The cache is located within 20 feet of the trail and contains small kid-friendly items with a logbook and pencil.
Though the trail is a short one, if you find yourself in need of a mid-hike snack, during midsummer an abundance of wild blueberries are nearby (an additional treat to search for—nature’s best geocache!).
This cache is not winter friendly.
There are small areas for public parking at either end of the trail: off Beede Hill Rd. at N 42°59.764’ W071°07.583’ or at the end of Spaulding Rd. at N 42°59.975’ W 071°08.026’.
