Penguins are fascinating creatures. There are none of them in this part of the world, but we like them, so this cache has been filled with small penguin figurines to reward finders. Our family hikes here frequently, and we found the hiding spot together. It is just off of one of the trails in the Mink Brook Nature Preserve. These trails are also visible in some online maps (such as Google Maps) if you zoom in close enough. There are a bunch of trails around, so please navigate carefully. If you have time, explore around a little bit, this is a wonderful natural area. (Also note that hunting is prohibited here, so this is a safe hike year-round.)
