After finding the Tele Bowl caches, CAL Chloie and I went in search of the famed Tuttle Rock panoramic view point.
My sister and brother-in-law had told of hiking to this lookout point, many years ago... When I mentioned it to a co-worker, he estimated its location on a satellite map, and away we went.
Although the rock wasn't much to look at, the views were terrific.
The cache is near the home of Frederick Herman "Fred" Tuttle (July 18, 1919 – October 4, 2003) was an American dairy farmer, film actor and one-time candidate for the U.S. Senate from the state of Vermont. He was born in Tunbridge, Vermont, and lived there all his life, except for his service in the United States Army during World War II
