Geocache Description:

One of a series of church micros placed in Chesham and surrounding hamlets.

St George's Church, Tyler's Hill was built in 1871 as a mission church from Christ Church, Waterside. The two churches are only a mile apart as the crow flies, up a country lane and over the fields. In the old days the vicar used to travel from one to the other on his horse! Needless to say, present day vicars do the three mile trip through Chesham by car. It is up a very narrow country lane which will be busy when activities are being held. Check the church website for further information. The nearby woods provide excellent walking but can be very muddy.




The cache is hidden at N51 42.a(bx2)c W000 35.0d
Acknowledging a debt to South Oxon Stone, and using the New International Version (NIV) Bible ascertain how many Books in the Old and New Testaments begin with the letters that spell out St George. Let a be the number of books beginning with S. Let b be the number for G
Go round the back of the adjoining meeting room and ascertain how many windows are not circular, they are not all the same shape. Let these be c
Find the headstone for Private JG Grimsdell , d is his military number divided by 386.

The cache is hidden within a natural container, tweezers will be required. Please ensure no access points are blocked. Not suitable for cache and dash.
