Blue Ball Vista Traditional Cache

This cache is placed along the ridge at the back of Anna Jean Cummings Park (a.k.a. Blue Ball Park). From the back of the parking lot, it's a short, steep climb to get up here. But once you're up, you can see forever. Well, maybe not forever, but all the way to Moss Landing on a clear day. This is a great spot to watch the sunrise or the sunset or just enjoy the view any time.

You're looking for a small lock & lock container with plenty of room for swag and trackables. The cache is off trail a bit to avoid unwanted detection, but there are good game trails all over the area. There are usually some hikers and dog walkers around, but I've never seen enough that stealth is an issue. The terrain rating is for the climb up the hill. Once you're up here, the terrain is flat and easy. Park hours are 8am to dusk.
