Geocache Description:

Some GEOart brought to you by John Galt? and StSquirrel. This is our gift to the caching community to celebrate our engagement. Since we are both avid cachers and met through the game, became friends and lovers and enjoy this hobby more than just about anything else besides being together, we thought it fitting to share this heart with everyone. We sincerely hope you enjoy!

Get ready for some hiking!

TAKE LOTS OF WATER!

CONGRATULATIONS to NINJANURSERN on completing the entire heart first!

21 miles total, 3 gallons of water, 50 ticks, a broken compass, a ruined pair of shoes and a pair of soggy socks later! lol.

This and all the other caches in this series are listed at bogus coordinates

There are 42 caches in this series because "42" is the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. Be prepared for a 14 mile hike. Take lots of water and snacks, pencils & paper and your camera. Parking coordinates are listed as a waypoint. There are multiple choices for parking. If you do it in one day with a group, leave a car at each end. Should you do this in multiple visits, you might choose all of them depending on which section you finish. If you haven't been down the D&L trail before, you will be in for one awesome caching experience! This is a loop which starts/ends at D&L 4 and D&L 12. The D&L trail is great for biking/hiking and you may be able to do this series on bike too; most of the way can be easily biked but you will need to leave them on the rail for a lot of caches that are back in the woods. This is not an easy bike trail like the rails to trails paths. The terrain ranges from 1.5 to 3.5. Should you choose to attempt this in one day, park at the D&L parking coords and expect about a 14 mile stroll.

TAKE LOTS OF WATER!

The Final cache, "Happily Ever After" http://coord.info/GC5MZ7H is a bit different. You will need to collect clues from the rest of the caches to find this one. Don't forget to write them down!

Should you complete this in one day, you will have done 29 of the 81 possible D/T combinations in one day. Now THAT is some caching! At the end, you will also have found a cache beginning with every Alphanumeric possibility. A-Z and 0-9

TAKE LOTS OF WATER!

Feel free to copy and paste your logs through the series. If you wish to describe your experience and grant a favorite point, do so on this cache page since it is the beginning of the series.

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. This is a puzzle cache and to find the physical coordinates you will be asked questions about Dr. Who and Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy (abbreviated as HHGTTG). MOST answers can be found in Wikipedia entries. A few will require a bit more work.

A nice way to layout this puzzle is using Chrome as your browser and installing "GEOPRINTER" extension. After you have solved all the puzzles and entered your corrected coordinates, it can give you a map so you will have a good idea of the area you will be covering. This is NOT necessary to find the caches, but it does make life easier when planning your route and parking. You can find it at:
