V malé architektuře u cest převládá pašijové téma. Na kříži byla dokonána Spása. Stavění křížů u cest bylo svérázným, veřejným projevem víry. Pobízelo k náboženskému rozjímání, k zamyšlení nad údělem ve věčnosti.
Tematyka pasyjna dominuje w sztuce przydrożnej. Na krzyżu dokonało się Zbawienie. Stawianie krzyży przydrożnych było zawsze swoistym, publicznym wyrażaniem wiary. Prowokowało do religijnych rozważań, refleksji o rzeczach ostatecznych.
The Passion is the predominant subject of the roadside art found here. The cross was the place of Christ’s salvation. Erection of roadside crosses was always a certain method for the public profession of faith. It also stimulated religious reflection and thoughts on the things ultimate.
