WWFM XII - Party Party Event Cache

GONIL is ten years old and we are celebrating in style this year.  You can look forward to many fun events and surprises – starting with this event.

To celebrate World Wide Flashmob day we are throwing GONIL a birthday party.  So, what do all good birthday parties have in common?  Friends, food, games, prizes, and presents.

Who: Anybody can come

What: A fun geocaching event

When: June 13, 2015 12:00 – 1:00

Where: Indian Boundary Park or more specifically N 42° 00.535 W 087° 41.514

Why: To celebrate World Wide Flash Mob XII day and the start of celebrating GONIL’s 10^th birthday

How: Spending time with friends and fellow geocachers, tasty snacks, playing a fun game, possible prizes, and exchanging presents.

Event Schedule

12:00: Start of event.

12:00 – 12:15: Meet at the coordinates, sign the log, and set up for the game.

12:15 – 12:30: (or longer if need be) Play the game… what game are we playing?  A classic children’s party game – musical chairs.  We will try to have some extra chairs for people to use but if you want to play you should do your best to bring your own chair.  Why would a sane person want to play musical chairs in the middle of the park on a Saturday afternoon?  One answer is wouldn’t you?  Musical chairs can be fun and funny all at the same time, and everybody can use a little silliness in their lives.  Another reason is because we have a prize for the winner and we will hold a raffle for only the people who participated.  The winner will receive a WWFM XII geocoin, we will also have other WWFM XXII products to raffle off to the participants.

12:30 – 12:40: WWFM XII day photo and prize/raffle for the musical chair participants.

12:40 – 1:00: Food and presents.  We are providing cupcakes and water to help you recover from a strenuous game of musical chairs.  As for presents who is providing them?  You are… we are going to be having a white elephant gift exchange.  If you bring a wrapped piece of SWAG you can swap it for another present.

1:00: Event is over but you can hang out and talk for as long as you like.

Remember: If you want to participate in the game don’t forget your chair.  If you want to participate in the white elephant gift exchange don’t forget to bring a wrapped piece of SWAG.

Please Note: There is street parking available but it can sometimes be difficult to find a spot.  If you want to participate in musical chairs you may want to arrive early so you do not miss anything.
