A two-stage paddle cache on a challenging section of the Palmer River. Park at Shad Factory Pond and paddle upstream.
This is a narrow, winding river with several fallen trees. You will want to bring a short kayak and paddle!
The cache can be reached from the boat at normal and high water levels. However, there is at least one tree that you will need to exit your kayak to get around.
