O Jardim do Triângulo
Em tempos foi um terreno baldio ocupado por oliveiras de diversos donos situado junto ao cruzamento de várias estradas num local denominado “Serrada da Joana”.
A estrada principal tinha largura muito superior a todas as outras, com muita areia trazida pelas águas vindas do Regato das Francilheiras, era ai que a miudagem se juntava para jogar à bola (trapeira), mas também aos domingos ai se juntavam adultos para fazerem os jogos de futebol, algumas vezes solteiros x casados.
Nos anos oitenta/noventa do século passado com o alcatroamento das ruas da aldeia, o local tomou nova configuração, ficando a forma geométrica de um triângulo.
Depois no ano 2005 com o embelezamento das ruas da aldeia, a Junta de Freguesia decidiu arrancar as oliveiras e construir ai um jardim com plantação de flores, algumas árvores e arbustos e que denominou como “Jardim do Triângulo”.
O espaço tem vindo a ser melhorado e hoje ai se reúnem alguns idosos onde convivem e desfrutam do seu descanso tão merecido.

The Garden of Triangle
Was once a wasteland occupied by olive trees of several owners situated next to the junction of various roads in a place called “Serrada da Joana”.
The main road was wide far superior to all others, with plenty of sand brought by the waters from the “Regato das Francilheiras” [Stream of Francilheiras], it was there that the boys joined to play ball (trapeira[rag ball]), but also on Sundays there gathered adults to do football games, sometimes singles vs married.
In the eighties/nineties of last century with the asphalt of village streets, the place took new setting, getting the shape of a triangle.
Later in the year 2005 with village streets beautification, the Parish Council decided to uproot olive trees and build a garden with flowers, planting a few trees and bushes and he called as “Jardim do Triângulo” [Garden of Triangle].
The space has been improved and today there gather some elderly where live and enjoy your rest as deserved. |
