Multi-trunk trees are a very common hiding place in the geocaching world. But what really classifies a tree as being "multi-trunked" anyway? True, "multi" refers to any number greater than one, but do you ever see a two-trunk tree referred to as being "multi-trunked?" What about three? Or four? or even five? When does the term "multi" really start being used for trees in the geocaching world? Just something to think about.
The cache you seek is a preform bottle. It used to be a lock-and-lock until some muggled it within the first week of its existence. Not only are there several trunks, but some of those trunks branch off into more trunks higher up, making it a real "multi-multi-trunk tree." Not sure how many trunks there were here, but there definitely were a lot. Feel free to count!
Please rehide well. It shouldn't be seen from the trail, but you never know. Hope you enjoy!
