Geocache Description:

The coordinates listed are for the downstairs door.The Main Library children's room has a collection of 52,600 items, books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, etc. To get the coordinates for the actual cache you must ask the children's librarian to check out the Geocaching 101 book. Inside this "book" you will find the coordinates for the cache. The library hours are Monday-Thursday 9am - 9pm, Friday and Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm. BYOP to sign log. Cache is now a micro.

This cache was placed as part of troop 85042’s bronze award. It is placed on the grounds of the Thomas Crane Public Library. The Thomas Crane Public Library is a national historic landmark, designated in 1987. The original building was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson and was built in 1881, it was opened in 1882. The original building contains two stained glass windows by noted American artist John LaFarge, The ”Old Philosopher” and “Angel at the Tomb”.>
