Be prepared for the usual trouble-makers (mosquitos and ticks) but make a loop or two from the available trail options, and follow the posted maps and signs or download a trail map of your own from here
This cache is located at the high point of the Lyme Town Forest, and not far from the viewpoint (which is marked on the map). For someone accustomed to mountain trails it is mostly easy terrain with moderately steep sections on each side of the height of land. There is at least one short but tricky part in a steep section where children should be assisted and adults should be cautious, but any fit person who has some hiking experience will have little trouble. This cache is suitable for kids and I populated it with some marbles and a few other trinkets from my daughter. I've marked the main parking area and trailhead, though there may be other access points as well. This would also make a good winter snowshoe or ski excursion, though the cache itself is likely to be underneath snow cover.
I hope this cache gives you an excuse to get out and explore a new place!
