Quiaios Adventure Traditional Geocache

Quiaios is a Portuguese village from Figueira da Foz, in the district of Coimbra, with 52,31 km² and 2 901 inhabitants (2011).

Quiaios is also known by its vast beach area, that is inserted in a landscape that combines a wide vegetation with a huge extension of sand. Next to the beach it is possible to see the impressive Boa Viagem Mountain that provides a stunning landscape to all the areas around it.

The geocache will be located on a dirt road at the end of a tar road on the beginning of the entrance to the equestrian center. It is a normal and easy access cache. We picked this location given its tranquility and complete harmony with nature.

Sugestions:

Given the place where the geocache is located my first suggestion would be to know this beautiful region. Also, have the opportunity to accomplish the pedestrian route in between the seashore and the mountain. If you like to practice nudism the figueira da foz beach is ideal for it, given the wide range of the beacharea, nudism is practiced in the most remote parts.

If you love surfing don’t forget to bring your surfboard, these beaches offer great conditions for this practice.

Note: And remember… try to minimize to the max your ecological footprint.
