Stratton IP Road Traditional Geocache

The International Paper Road runs across Stratton Mountain. It runs a fairly level terrain around 2600'.

Also, known as the IP road, it is now marked FR 341.

It starts here on Kelly Stand Rd. on the southeast of the mountain and ends on Kendall Farm Rd. on the northwest about 9 miles away. IP owns this road and used it for logging many years ago. Today, this is a highly used snowmobile trail in winter and makes a great hike and bike trail in the summer.

Across the road from this cache is an old apple orchard. It is part of the Apples for Wildlife project.

This cache is just "hanging" around the beginning of the IP road.
