In August 2011, Hurricane Irene caused massive flooding throughout Vermont. Many areas were hit with major destruction. Vermonters will never forget Irene!
The Kelly Stand Rd. was completely wiped out in Sunderland. It just reopened not too long ago.
Just above this bridge is the beginning where Irene unleashed her fury! From here on down river, total destruction.
