The Stratton Mountain area is a great place to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of life. I have been coming here for years. This area is my "go to" place for hiking and camping. You can never run out of places to explore in the Green Mountains. The beauty is phenomenal!
Forest Road 70 is about 3 miles long starting off the Kelly Stand Rd. It leads to Branch Pond and Bourne Pond Trailhead. There are a couple moose views along the way. Here is one of them.
This cache is "hanging" out waiting to be found. You do not need to go down any embankments.
