Bourne Pond Trail Traditional Geocache

The Stratton Mountain area is a great place to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of life. I have been coming here for years. This area is my "go to" place for hiking and camping. You can never run out of places to explore in the Green Mountains. The beauty is phenomenal!

Bourne Pond Trail is an easy terrain hike to the beautiful picturesque Bourne Pond. Basically all flat. A 2.6 mile hike to the pond. This is a great place to come do some primitive camping and fishing.

There are a few campsites located on the pond. There are a couple privies and also a Spring. This pond is one of my favorite camping spots.

This cache is not far from the kiosk. "Hanging" out seems to be the style of this little guy.
