The Stratton Mountain area is a great place to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of life. I have been coming here for years. This area is my "go to" place for hiking and camping. You can never run out of places to explore in the Green Mountains. The beauty is phenomenal!
This junction of dead end 86, off a remote part of Forest Road 71, takes you to a few nice campsites and also another cache.(See GC29257). The first campsite on your right is one of my personal favorites in the Stratton area. Being a dead end road it is a lot more private.
The cache here is "hanging" out not too far from the FR71 sign.
