The cache is one of many located in the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area in the Ossipee Mountains conserved and stewarded by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust. You will find a map of these trails at the hiker parking area. To get to this area turn on Ossipee Park Road off of Route 171 in Moultonboro.
As you walk along the trails you will see evidence of the early settlements in the area. Take the time to stop and read about the history of these settlers. Please note that none of the caches on these trails are placed in any of the foundations, cellar holes, or rock walls.
