Pond Skating is Where it All Began Traditional Cache

After walking this trail a couple of times with my puppy, it was time to place a cache in honor of my sister.  She is a Gold Medal Figure Skater having passed all of her skating tests.  What better way to honor her then to place a cache in a place where other skaters dreams of making the Olympics may begin.  

 You are looking for a well hidden micro.  You will need to bring your own pen or pencil as it is only big enough for the log.   Please be stealthy as during the winter the pond can be very busy and in the spring and summer months you will often find others walking their dogs.

"Donated to the Town by L.L. Bean, Gorman Park has a short (<.5 mile) loop trail, picnic tables, a covered picnic pavilion, a grassy area, and a small ice skating area. It is a lovely place for a quick stroll or picnic lunch and is within easy walking distance of Main Street. Some portions of the trail are very steep—strollers and bikes are not recommended. Dogs must be on a leash and pet waste must be collected and carried out. Parking for Gorman Park is available in lots off School and Bow Streets near downtown Freeport."
