Zoey's morning walk cache Traditional Geocache

The Crystal Springs area of the Middlesex Fells Reservation is in the most northeast corner of the Fells, bordering Melrose and Stoneham. I used to walk in this area of the woods almost every morning with Zoey my geo-dog, who sadly passed away in 2019, but I am maintaining it in her memory since this corner off the Fells was her favorite area to walk in, and she loved checking up on her cache! If you cache here with your dog, let your dog sniff around a bit in Zoey’s honor 🐶🐾🐶!

Depending on where you park, the cache can be as little as a 15 minute hike to retrieve from the parking lot. Probably the closest parking area is the Crystal Springs parking area right off the Lynn Fells parkway. From there, you can head up the (steep!) hill along the Crystal Springs Trail.  

The cache itself is a medium sized clear lock-box and contains a log and several trading items. It is located a little off the trail but still should be pretty easy to get to.
