The land is now overgrown, but was once a hill owned by the Ludlow Mills, and was dug out for the precious sand. The land was then sold to a development company that was planning on extending Primrose, Devins, and Enfield street until local residents protested. After many years of battling, the city eventually bought the land, and added it to Hubbard Park. The extention is still enjoyed by local residents to this day, and I wanted to share some of this joy to the Geocaching community.
BUGSPRAY IS RECOMENDED DURING THE SUMMER; KEEP IN MIND THE OVERGROATH ISN'T AS BAD IN THE FALL AND SPRING.
Hope you enjoy :P
