These virtual caches (there are 3) are for all of you who hoped to use your GPS units on the flight over and were denied (Thanks American Airlines). And, have found much more exciting things to do on Maui than to poke around the lava fields looking for Tupperware containers. These caches are in popular tourist locations and an admission fee may be required. Go ahead and pay the fee, there is a lot more to see at these locations than just the chance to log another find.
Most maps show these co-ordinates as being in Maalaea Bay. They are not. The Maui Ocean Center was evidently built on landfill (opened in 1998) after the maps were printed.
Go to the co-ordinates and see who is there. E-mail me the Hawaiian name of who or what is likely to be staring back at you at this location. No, it’s not Ophra. Plan to spend several hours here, more if you have kids.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THE ANSWER IN YOUR LOG (EVEN IF IT’S ENCRYPTED).
