Geocache Description:

You can date when people came to this area by what they call this spot.  The old timers all call it Weeks Traffic Circle.  I'm not sure what the new comers call it, since I never recognize whatever it is.

At the posted coordinates is a large green sign that gives you a brief history of Weeks Restaurant and Weeks Traffic Circle.  It was never clear to me why the entire intersection was reconstructed, since it always worked fine with no lights and no lines.  Now it just seems like a spaghetti tangle of roads, traffic lights, and turn lanes that confuse anyone who doesn't go through here regularly.

Your first mission is to figure out how to get to a safe place to park and walk to the green sign.  That is easier said than done.  If you miss an entrance, just go around again and try not to make the same mistake twice.  I don't advise trying to walk across any lanes of traffic except where there is a lighted pedestrian crossing. Some parking spots are reserved for various businesses, so you also have to be careful where you park.

Once you read the sign, you will have to do some work to find the final coordinates.  Let's hope you paid attention in math class.

For north, count the number of letters that this intersection is called on the green sign. Add to that the number of ice cream establishments that have operated on this site, then add the number of windows (not window panes) on the picture on the sign. Subtract your answer from the posted north coordinates.

For west, add the number of the world war mentioned to the posted west coordinates.

If you did the calculations correctly, you can make the short walk or drive to the final location. I've moved it to a very common hiding spot. Please be stealthy to keep the hiding place intact.
