Geocache Description:

FINAL COORDINATES ARE IN DECIMAL FORMAT! Located in the tree right next to the path at the final coordinates. PLEASE be stealthy this park always has people in it


This multi cache will take you on a round trip through the modern city center and some of the significant landmarks there. Please be a bit discreet when finding the final container, even though I picked a location with the minimal amount of muggles, they still are existent because it is the city center, after all.

 

Stage 1 - Memorial to the perished children of Sarajevo

This memorial is dedicated to the children who have perished in the aggression. Please do not throw coins into the fountain. The memorial symbolizes a mother who is trying to protect her child. The bronze rim around the fountain has been cast out of used RPG and other munition casings. The ring has embedded into it footprints, these are the footprints of the child relatives of the killed children.

Stage 2 - Trg Djece Sarajeva

Trg djece Sarajeva (Sarajevo's children square) is the square named after the innocent children of Sarajevo who have been tragically in the 1992-1995 aggression. 

What does BBI stand for (one of the buildings next to it has the full name). Count the vowels of the full name, this number is B

 

Stage 3 - Ashkenazi Synagogue

Sarajevska Sinagoga is Sarajevo's primary and largest synagogue and is located on the south bank of the river Miljacka. It was constructed in 1902 and remains the only functioning synagogue in Sarajevo today

Stage 4 - At Mejdan

At mejdan at first was a horse market, and later a horse track in the 17th century. A music pavillion was built there in 1913. the project for the pavilion was made by Josip Pospišil. It was destroyed by Nazi bombers in 06.04.1941.
