Geocache Description:

A short hike on pedestrian trails in the town forest will lead cachers to this wooden trail bridge in a quiet forest location.

This bridge was designed by my friend, Bruce B. and built by him, and me, and another friend. Bruce has passed away, but his bridge survives. It has been battered by Hurricane Irene, so it's now crooked. The trail is now seldom used. You may see relics of 1990's era mountain bike bridges. Consider those unsafe to walk on. Enjoy this seldom used part of the town forest. This bridge reminds me of the Buddhist concept of the impermanence of all things as I recall my lost friend.

A remimder that the trail no longer exits. This cache is about the place, not the trail. While the hide is on town forest property, a convenient trail no longer exists. The terrain rating adjusts for that. I kept the hide easy to reward the daring few who venture here. There are many ways to approach this, but the easiest way is probably to keep the shortest bushwack path from civilization. Good luck!
