This is the first in a series of puzzles concerning people who have lived in Staffordshire. You are looking for somebody who I shall call X.
X was born in Staffordshire into a poor family. Despite only spending a short time at school X became a politician, but ended up something of a class traitor.
A = the number of letters removed from X's name for religious reasons
B = the number of children that X had
CDEF = the year X appeared on a stamp
GH-JK-LMNP = the date (in the form dd-mm-yyyy) that X was appointed to the Privy Council
