A walk through a grassy meadow, accessible from several directions. Well-marked trails.
This cache is fairly easy to get to, though the distance you walk will depend on the direction from which you approach. You don't have to cross any private property or get within 100' of any beach houses. No bush-whacking required, but do keep your eyes peeled for poison oak. The area is safe for pets and small children. Anyone may hunt for this cache, but special bonus points go to father/son geocaching teams.

The cache is a smallish round Rubbermaid container, and contains a logbook/pen, and several fun toys. There was a disposable camera in the cache initially and you can view the visitors who photographed themselves below. Note that some of the photos show the cache location and could be spoilers.

The coordinates are pretty accurate, but the EPE in the area tends to be high, so it may not be exactly where your GPS receiver says when you first arrive.

This cache is dedicated to fathers everywhere, and mine in particular. Thanks for getting me hooked on geocaching, Dad!

We battled spiders, PO, muggles, wrong directions, logs (which we all tripped over) to find the most unlikely tree for the cache. We took the TB and will move along. We could here the pounding of the surf when we got back up the hill. The sun was setting over the waves and it was just beautiful.

This is the time of year in which you cannot tell poison oak from the sticks of the forest.
Blackberry, blackberry, poison oak? Ivy, ivy, blackberry, poison oak?
After this cache I took a scrubbing shower when I got home,
but the joys of this cache were the cliff top views of the bay,
and the late sun shining through the dried clover,
well worth a little PO!
