NASCENTES DE AREIA
Na Serra de Fora, no Norte da Ilha do Porto do Santo encontra-se o Porto dos Frades, um sítio calmo, com praias desertas de águas cristalinas. Aqui temos uma paisagem fantástica, recortada pela erosão que o vento e o mar lhe provocam.
Perto de uma das praias e percorrendo um caminho de terra batida aí existente, descobrimos um local onde a areia abunda e dá lugar a diferentes formas causadas pela ação do vento naquela zona.
Colocamos esta cache para dar a conhecer este local, mas não quisemos colocar a cache nas zonas mais altas, para evitar ao máximo a destruição da zona.
In Serra de Fora, in the north of Island of Porto Santo is located Porto dos Frades, a quiet place, with deserted beaches with crystal clear waters. It is an area endowed with a fantastic landscape, sculpted by erosion caused by the wind and the sea.
Near one of the beaches and walking a dirt track existing there, we found a place where the sand abounds and gives rise to different forms caused by the wind in the area.
We put this cache to make known this place, but did not want to put the cache in the highest areas, in order to minimize the zone of destruction.
