Are you afraid of the hill?
Philopappou Hill includes: the Hill of the Muses, the Hill of the Nymphs, and the Pnyx, the latter being of great historical importance, as it was the meeting place of democratic legislatures in ancient times. The park is likewise known for the beautiful landscaping and stone pathways created by architect Dimitris Pikionis, who also restored the 16th-century Byzantine chapel of Saint Dimitrios [Loumbardiaris] in 1954-58. In 1996 the Ministry of Culture declared the works of Pikionis a monument of contemporary architecture.

Ο λόφος Φιλοπάππου, ή λόφος Μουσών, ή λόφος Σέγγιο, είναι λόφος της Αθήνας που βρίσκεται απέναντι, νοτιοδυτικά, από την Ακρόπολη. Συνδέεται με τους παρακείμενους λόφους του Αστεροσκοπείου (λόφος Νυμφών) και της Πνύκας. Στην κορυφή του υπάρχει το μνημείο Φιλοπάππου που έστησε ο ύπατος Φιλοπάππος κατά την Ρωμαϊκή περίοδο και έδωσε το όνομά του στον λόφο. Γύρω από τον λόφο Φιλοπάππου βρίσκεται η ομώνυμη συνοικία καθώς και οι συνοικίες Κουκάκι, Πετράλωνα και Ακρόπολη. Στην νότια πλευρά του λόφου υπάρχει επίσης το θέατρο Δόρα Στράτου.
Αληθεια ποτε δεν ξερεις τι θα βρεις οταν ψαχνεις στον Λοφο αυτό. Μπορεις αραγε να το βρεις χωρις να δεις το hint? Κρατα τις ματιές σου χαμηλές!
