Woffi: Als wir den Cache im Jahr 2002 gelegt haben, war der Teil der Insel frei zugänglich, ohne Verbotsschilder oder Ähnliches. Das hat sich anscheinend inzwischen geändert, und so werden wir den Cache jetzt deaktivieren.

Geocache Description:

Es war Zeit für einen Inselcache ! It was about time to have a cache on an island !

Der Cache ist auf "Töwerland". So nennen jedenfalls die Tourismusleute die Insel Juist. Die Cachebox ist im Sand vergraben, und zwar in einem Bereich, der betreten werden darf. Um dennoch großes Graben zu vermeiden, kann man noch eine zusätzliche Hilfe für die Eingrenzung der Position benutzen:
Von der Cacheposition aus sieht man einen Pfahl am Strand und den Leuchtturm von Norderney in einer Linie (siehe Foto).
Wenn es nicht anders geht, gibt es auch noch einen Spoiler.
The Cache is on "Töwerland" (miracle land). This is how the tourism people call the island of Juist. The cache box is buried in sand in an area, which is accessible to the public. To avoid too much digging, we have provided an additional help to narrow down the position:
Looking from the cache location you should see a pole on the beach and the Norderney lighthouse in one line (see photo).
If there is no other way, there is also a spoiler.
