Now known as the Monash Freeway or the M1, the South Eastern Arterial Road opened to traffic on 21st December 1988.
The pedestrian overpass at this location is used by students from nearby Malvern Valley Primary School and Chadstone Shopping Centre to the South and Holmesglen TAFE and Railway Station to the North.
Along with many of our neighbors we have watched the city fireworks display from this foot bridge over the years.
