"This area was the local Dump for all Factory and local Buisnesses (for almost 100 Years). Everyone used this Landfill. Including Texas Instruments..(formally) known as (Metals and Controls). Texas Instruments conducted Uranium Operations here from 1952 thru 1981. This Site, (SHPACK Landfill) in 1952, Texas Intruments, (when it was Metals and Controls), Began to fabricate enriched Uranium Foils under a Government Contract for the US Naval Reacters Program, Air Force, and other US Government funded research. Now its closed for over 20 Years , and its not a good idea to live around here.ow this site is a somewhat of a Nuclear waste area. On one side of the Street is Nuclear Waste Material, and on the other side is a Eco Friendly watershed area??? Go figure."CRAZYDIAMOND
