Went for a Christmas hike with my dad, Geo-Knot, and placed my first cache! Though there are many places to park I provided what seemed to be the closest. About the first 300 ft was pretty muddy since it recently rained, but it was passable. Once you get past the mud there are beautiful woods. At ground zero you might need a tall friend, the cache is about 6 ft off the ground and may be difficult to reach. You could get creative with some of the surroundings to reach the cache if needed. Wear blaze orange during hunting season.
